Hi Californian and other west-Americans,
In august my OM's, my son and I will have a "trip" in California and
"far-west" (far for us of course?) .
In our itinerary : Los Angeles-San Diego-Lake Havasu-Grand Canyon-Lake
Powell-Bryce Canyon?
Las Vegas (only for one night and we are not gamblers?) Death Valley
(?)-Sequoia Park-Yosemite-San Francisco-Santa Margarita and back in Los
Angeles. After this circuit 3 days of rest (?) in a friend's house in
Fremont (S.F.). Most of time we'll camp except in L.A., Las Vegas and S.F.
A lot of miles in a short time (15 days for the "circuit" !)?so I'll
appreciate your advises, photographic's and "practical". For example, Bob
(my Fremont's friend) told me Death Valley is too hot in this season?I
wouldn't explode the motor of my location car but Death Valley is a mythical
place?and what's the interest of Josuah Tree, famous for me trough U2's
album...?
The OM content is "à venir" as we said in French! Of course I'll be
interested if you have interesting "shops" to recommend, I must buy a new
light tripod are the prices more interesting overseas: the Bilora Classic
IV-891 which seems me interesting cost here around 68$. What is the price of
Fuji's film Reala and Velvia? And, of course, it could be the occasion for a
"Trans-Atlantic" meeting with some of you.
Thanks in advance for you precious advises, perhaps is it "better for the
list" to answer me privately.
