Some have said that the Manfrotto hex plate makes the DOF preview and
shutter speed hard to use. I have a Manfrotto 191RC head with a rectangular
plate, and have no problems. It seems that there are more options out there
for the Arca plates (though I've never seen one out here. Only Manfrottos
190 with 141RC heads).
