I'm looking for answers to a few questions, and general advice on the craft
side, relating to macro photography and various toys I've recently acquired
for my collection of OM-1's. Pointer to a web site or FAQ's that I
shouldn't have missed will be just as appreciated as outright answers.
Currently I'm the bemused owner of a 49mm OM mount reversing ring but don't
have a clue as to what to do with it. I also have a 65-116 Auto extension
tube and will soon have the shorter ext tube's. I also have the usual
assortment of lenses from 21/3.5 to 500/8. (hmm... feels frightfully
personal to list them but it might make a difference to the answer - Oly:
21/3.5, 24/2.8, 28/2.8, 35/2.8,35/2.8 shift, 50/1.4, 50/1.8, 50/3.5 Macro,
85/2, 100/2.8, 135/3.5, 180/2.8, 200/5, 500/8, 35-70/3.5-4.5, 75-150/4 and
from the misc maker file a 70-215/3.5 Macro Sakar and a Vivitar Series 1
Macro 28-90/2.8-3.5)

So, first admitting that I could probably get there through trial and
error:

Good reference book?
How does one use a reversing ring? And what for?
What lens(es) does one use with it?
Are the extension tubes redundant if you have the full assortment of macro
lenses?
Are extension tubes only useful with long lenses? Could you use one with a
reflex lens (500/8)?
Should I still be on the lookout for an Auto-bellows?

And lastly shouldn't some of the answers to this end up in the FAQ?
