Not too sure about that, I just think we all came at in from a different
angle and with a much more pleasant spin.  I don't recall who brought up
first, but emotion is a driver to creating images that grip the attention of
the viewer.  A battered psyche is emotion.  Those emotions will reflect in
the viewfinder.
