The 1n does not do TTL, as you say (I wish it did, and spot metering a la
OM2000. Then it would be better than perfect. Down off my soapbox). But
using the same TTL cord allows the red led in the viewfinder to work.

have thought that since the 1n does not do OTF metering it had no way of
quenching the flash to limit flash exposure?   So does any OM flash provide
TTL flash with a 1n,   I suspect that all flashes would only be able to do a
" FULL BURN" with this body.
