As far as I can determine, the calculator panel has no direct effect
on what the T20 (or T32) will do. The important thing is the position
of the slider just below the calculator.
The only problem I see in using the flash without the panel is that it
may be too easy to move the slider unintentionally, so the flash no longer
is in TTL mode. I don't know what happens if the slider is set between
the authorized positions.
