Hi Gary,

Your tough! Hey, I put "eBay" in the Subject Line so you could pass it
by. Anyway, the last I looked, B&H wanted $1000 for one and the local
stores wanted $1200 and it was one of the list members (I won't get them
in trouble with you too) who said it was difficult to find and a
"legendary design". As to wild claims, the lens has never been used!
Also, correct me if I'm wrong but SPAM reflects material that is off the
subject. This posting couldn't be more ON the subject.

Before going on, I want to mention that you're one of the people on the
list that has been most informative and particularly helpful to me so
please accept these comments within that context.

Now, the fact that I reproduced the "eBay advertising hype" in the
Olympus List posting may have been a little much for the sensibilities
of this "heady and upscale crowd," but I did a little advertising
copywriting in a former lifetime and I guess I just couldn't help
myself. Hopefully I can be forgiven for that transgression - given
time, of course.

Best Regards,
-Bob-
