The OM system will keep clicking way beyond what we might guess. I rarely
must replace a meter movement or curtains, almost never replace shutter
assemblies or wind mechanisms. Even WITH parts on hand, I may not need most
of them. I replace more foam than anything else.
The OM system is quite durable and reliable (hey, we know that).
