Yes but it can only do so within a certain working range, which depends
on flash power (GN), film speed and working aperture. With a powerful
flash and medium speed films (100-400 ASA) you can't use large
apertures with short shooting distances. With the T32 or F280 shooting
indoors at 2-4 m. I mostly use F8. If you really need larger apertures
you can reduce flash power on any flash by reflecting it on the ceiling
or by using a diffusor (if there isn't a diffusor for the flash you can
make one from semitransparant paper).

I don't think so, but this isn't necessarily a bug of the flash but
more likely a bug of the OM-4. I have experienced strange behaviour on
my OM-4 when using a T18 flash and also on a T32 in Normal Auto mode.
The T18 always gives underexposure in the viewfinder but the led on the
flash blinks (ok); when I put it on my OM-2n or OM-4Ti everything works
ok. The T32 in Normal Auto mode doesn't give flash OK confirmation on
both my OM-4 and OM-4Ti but does on the OM-2n.

This works best with the camera in manual 1/60 or slower and the flash
in computer flash mode. When you browse the archives you can find a
mail I wrote that covers it.
