Here's a question for everyone:
Are the serial numbers on lenses within the
lens type. That is to say, if I have a 50mm F1.4
lens with serial number 100,000, does that mean
its the 100,000th 50mm F1.4 or does it mean its the
100,000th Zuiko, or ???
Seems that the 50mm F1.8 is usually numbered
up above 1,000,000 wherease "rarer" lenses are
numbered in the 1 to 2 hundered thousands.
Anyone know how Oly did their lens number scheme?
