No, you can screw in filters with normal sized frames, without
vignetting.

Not neccesary for this lens, but watch if you buy an pola filter, they
tend to have very big frames. A slim frame or a oversized wide angle
version of pola filter is advisable.
BTW the B+W and Heliopan filters are of exeptional quality.
