I have the hard rubber hood for the 85 f2/100 f2.8, and it states that it is
also suitable for the 40mm f2.  I checked Lee Hawkins' lens hood chart, and
this says the same thing.  Therefore I assume it is safe to use on a 50mm.
Not so sure about the 35mm.
