Cannon has been using that system for quite a while. They used to
have a SLR model named something like "Pellix" (late sixties, I
think). Later there was a high-speed F1 using that system. Now
it's a high-speed EOS.

The great disadvantage is that the quality and cleanness of the
mirror affects the picture quality. It's fine for special purpose
cameras, but is IMHO too vulnerable for general use.
