Just to clarify, I was not thinking of the IS when I said cheap P&S, although 
re-reading it above, it sure appears that way. I was thinking of a real P&S - I 
know that a Stylus is not cheap, and can produce good shots, but I suspect it 
would be no match for an OM-77 with a 35-70 zoom to give some more flexibility. 
(candid portraits with a 35mm p&s aren't my idea of good shots)

I'll keep this in mind - I haven't tried either.

with a 35-180, I might end up taking it too often... But I suspect an IS-3 is 
gonna be big $$$ up here. One more thing to put on my list to watch out for. 
I'm thinking of putting my OM-10 on consignment tomorrow, to see if I can 
recover some cash. I was told by the shop that it can go for about $150, body 
and manual adapter (no lens). I'd keep 750f this, which seems fair if it 
sells.
