According to the webpage, market share data in 1997 for SLR cameras is as
follows.
Canon 37.0%
Minolta 23.6%
Nikon 19.9%
Asahi-Optical co.(Pentax) 13.0%
Olympus 4.0%
Comparing with data in 1996, the share of Olympus went dowm by minus 2.2 points.
The data does not include digital camera, and it is related to Japanese
market only.
Does anyone have market share data of Olympus cameras in other countries?
