I checked my daughter's Marshall Valvestate, expecting to point out that it
was made in China. That's the way we do it in the USA, anyway. Slap an
American name on a product and make it somewhere else...Suprise, made in
the UK!

I have owned a couple Japanese bikes in my day; never had the pleasure of
owing a Norton, BSA, or Triumph. I do know that the British bikes, in spite
of their mechanical problems, weighed so little you could 'think' them
around a curve.

And of course was there ever a greater car than a Jaguar XKE? When I think
of the several I could have bought for $4000...
