Yes but the main reason for its neglect is surely the lack of AF.
I know its not a problem for us but it is for the market place, given that
the available system is still
more comprehensive than Leica's or Contax MF. I know they've brought out
the rear focusing
thing, but its always sounded like an overcomplicated engineering solution
to me, all that
extra moving mechanical gubbins in the camera, I wouldn't buy it for that
reason, moving parts remember. Leica camera bodies are not particularly
exceptional, but the lenses are in the top 3.
