The OM-4 and lenses are excellent choices.  The spot metering is an
invaluable tool to learn how to measure and analyze light.  The F2 is not
superior IMHO.  You may want to expand the lens selections to a serious wide
angle, say a 24mm if she shows progressively more committment.  Also, have
her take a look at RIT; a fine institution indeed.
