[OM] Why I like Olympus...

In response to the question from Dan...

When I took my first "real" job -- as an engineer for Bendix Field
Engineering -- I owned a Nikon FTn and a couple of lenses. I'm not weak,
but I found the Nikon big, bulky, and heavy. I was going to travel a lot
for Benix; the Nikon was just too big to lug around. So the tiny OM
system was a real temptation.

I sold the Nikon and got Olympus. Outside of the fact that I don't care
for the cosmetics of non-Nikon SLRs, I've had no other regrets. I bought
a tiny camera case -- about the volume of a shoebox -- into which I
stuffed a whole bunch of lenses, a motor drive, and a flash. I could
_never_ do this with the Nikon. I got lots of pictures I never would
have gotten otherwise.

One of the other reasons I like the OM system is that it's _different_.
It's not a me-too, copycat product.
