Bradley,
In the case of the OM2/2n you must use the hotshoe. I believe that
even though the OM4 has a TTL conn on it, it just parallels the hotshoe.
I have used both TTL and both manual. I havn't used a mix (one TTL and
one manual) but don't think that it would be a problem either.
