[OM] M15V Nicad pack charging time?

Hi, everyone.

Well, the NiCad pack saga has just about come to an end. The cell insert
that I had made up by the Battery Works for $50 (a fine job, by the way,
made with Sanyo cells) is back inside of the original M15V body. I did a
"dry run" on the charger before final assembly and measured the charging
current at 32 mA, which for the battery's 110 mAH capacity equates to a
charging time of roughly 5 hours. Note that, for these cells, the standard
charging rate would be 11 mA for 14 hours. I decided to live with it,
since the original cells were obviously not rapid-charge, and to mentally
remember to stick to a 5-hour charge time, but I was wondering what the
original factory-recommended charging time is. If anyone else has the
original instruction sheet for this beast, could you look this up for me?

BTW, the MD1 absolutely FLIES!  It's not worth it for an OM-2S, of course;
that body can't run at full MD speed.

Also, I was fortunate to acquire a beauty of a Zuiko 300mm f 4.5, rather
inexpensively (read: didn't get ripped off, but didn't get a "Doris Fang
Special" either!). Which way does the tripod ring fit onto the lens: red
dot to the front, or to the rear?

The ospreys, eagles, dolphins, etc. had better watch out around here,
now... ; )

Thanks for your help, in advance. See ya.

Mahlon
