Yesterday I went to the local camera show, Photographica. It's a
function of the Photographic Historical Society of New England (PHSNE).
At the show were a number of dealers with Oly stuff, but most of the
prices were shutterbug-like, with little dealing room. A great
exception, as always, was Hunt's, where I picked up a T32 for $50. They
also had a 4Ti in Ex- condition for $499 (which probably could be gotten
for around $400 or less). Bromfield camera sold a very worn OM-3 they
have had for ages for $300 (I happened to be walking by as it was being
sold). One dealer (I forget which) had a Spiratone 18/3.5 for $170.
Rong's camera had quite a selection of Oly lenses, from 16mm to 300mm,
but at shutterbug prices and with little inclination to deal. Other Oly
things:
A box of hot shoes ($20-$35), TTL Auto Connector Type 4 and T20 ($30-$50),
and focusing screens.
A 35/2.8 shift for $450, and one for $475.
A 21/2 for $675
A 16/3.5 for $595 (or thereabouts).
Lots of lenses in the 28mm-200mm range.
Lots of T-20's for around $45.00.
An 800/11 solid cat for $650.
A 500/8 solid cat for $550.
Lots of OM-1,2,1N,2N,2S,10,PC,G bodies
Finally, I saw something I had never seen before, two OM-10 black bodies
that were not OM-10Quartz's. I had convinced myself that the OM-10 only
came in black in the Quartz (with databack) model. Learn something new
every day :).
