[OM] 4T vs 4Ti

Talk about confusion! (My own, of course!)
Thanks to all for the responses to my original query re 4T and 4Ti.

Here's the conclusion(s) I've drawn so far:

Late model 4T "Black" is just the US marketing name for the exact same
body that is marked as 4Ti in other parts of the world. ( I use "late
model" to separate the issues of circuit differences, battery drain
problems, weather seals, F280 compatibility, titanium skin, etc. that
relate to OM4 vs either of the "T" models.)

The little "i" stands (apparently) for "international." I had
originally suspected that the little "i" on my OM3Ti stood for "ion
plating" which is what Olympus says/calls the oh so lovely and rugged
brown/black surface on that body. I once thought, perhaps that since
the OM4T was emphatically called "Black" in Oly literature, that the
OM4Ti might have that surface treatment. Reason enough in my mind to
own one! But alas, this is apparently not so, the OM4Ti has the same
dappled black "paint" that the 4T "Black" does, because they are the
same camera.

There. I think that's it. Any comments, corrections? Thanks again to
the list for the info.
