>Can anyone remember if 0x378 is usually the parallel port? It ususally is 0x378 or 0x3BC; you can check this with MSD.EXE that came with previous versions of DOS and Windows, or from Win95/98 by checking Control Panel/System/Device Manager/Ports/Printer Port/Properties/Resources.
