[OM] Re: decomposing rubber

I just picked up this info from another group.  We thought we had it bad with
decomposing foam around the back covers of OM bodies.  It seems Canon uses a 
type of
rubber in EOS shutter brake system that  decomposes  at a faster rate,  rubs 
off and
appeares on the curtains as sticky gooey smears.
