Excellent, list! We've succeeded in smoking out yet another
"Zuiko-perv" out from the closet. Great job, everyone!!!
Hey Thomas, now that you are no longer an OLY-list virgin,
welcome!

Hmm, I hear one's first time always does (hey, it's been a long
time since I lost MY "virginity" :-)). Sooooo, was there a lot
of blood on your keyboard? :-)

The focus ring grip is similar/identical to most other Zuikos,
and thus should be easily available from any authorized OLY
repair facility, and probably also directly from OLY. The
zoom ring grips are no longer available new (AFAIK), and so
you'll have to either preserve it as long as possible, or
look for a reasonably closely matching substitute.

Hmm, I use something called "Silicone Lube & Cleaner" (comes
in a spray can) to clean and revive the look and sheen of
the rubber. It really works very well. However, I wouldn't
go as far as to suggest that it improves/restores the rubber
elasticity, etc.

Pls, take a number -- I have similar requests from 3 other
Zuiks, but this darn rubber thingy is getting harder (oops,
maybe I should rephrase this... :-)) to track down.

There must be a million of these hoods in Japan, selling
for a 100 yen a piece. Is there any Zuik out there with a
scheduled visit to Japan in the next few months?

Cheers,
