If your 2S has a GREEN flash red LED, that means the camera batteries are being
used to power it. There is an update/repair that converts that to a RED LED,
which is then powered by the flash batteries (there is more to it that just
changing the LED to RED, by the way). All 2S's were made with the green LED,
the
RED conversion came after production had stopped.
