The 72mm Olympus brand CIR-POL will not vignette when used with the Olympus
brand 49-72mm adapter. Note that this may not apply to other brand 49-72
adapters. I agree that the Heliopan as well as the B+W brand filters are
outstanding, but in this case you may have to go with Olympus to prevent
vignetting. As far as I know, Oly filters are still made by Hoya, but are
made to Oly specs and are quite thin. Hoya now makes ultra thin filters, but
the price will be close to the Olympus price, and the Oly filters are
guaranteed not to vignette.
