I'd never seen such a beautiful image snap into focus on a groundglass. It was
bright; it was sharp; it was vibrantly colorful!
What you are comparing, of course, is the speed of the lens through the
viewfinder,
Or maybe indulge in a 2-series screen if you are now fatally attracted to
brightness

Hi Joel and all,
I personally think this "Snap In" focus (or lack of) is often overlooked by
those who have converted to the 2 series screens. I took mine out of my 3Ti
and replaced it with a 1-10. While I will agree the 2 series screens are
brighter, I feel I lost too much in focus ability.
If one truly wants a bright screen, way not the 1-5,6,7. Yes, I know they do
not allow DOF preview.
Just food for thought.
