The rear shoe pin on shoe 3 is for TTL contact only.  The flash not firing at
all means that other contact is not touching or is shorting.  Remove shoe & blow
hole out (ypu probably already did this).
If you try scratching the contact with something, do not press too hard cus this
can push the contact out of the metal stamping.
