Requisite Oly content: I agree with Lee and Doris that you should use
circular polarizers with spot metering cameras for your priceless shots,
but if you can't afford new polarizers and are disciplined enough to adjust
a linear polarizer, you can make it work just fine with a spot meter. Just
"peak" the meter reading with the polarizer before taking a reading, then
set it the way you normally do before taking the shot. End of discussion.
