Regardless of whether you use mailers, custom labs, or whatever, it is always
a
good idea to have your name and address on the first frame of every roll.  Use
a
handkerchief  and print the info on it and shoot it first.  A hanky is, IMHO,
the
best way to go since you can throw it in the camera bag and it won't take up
any
room and it never wears out.  This will help lessen the risk of losing film,
but as
you said.....  "s**t" happens..........
