John,
Before I got my T32, I used my T20 for close-ups (mainly medical specimens) by
simply trimming an index card to the width of the flash top and an inch or so
longer, and holding it on the flash with rubber bands around the front of the
flash and card. Allowing the white side of the card to extend past the front
of the flash reflects some of the light downward, helping correct for the
parallax problem. This seemed to give me even illumination for moderate close-
ups using a Tamron SP 35-80 at the 80 mm end. The lens can go nearly to 1:2,
but I probably wasn't using a ratio over 1:4.
