It is most likely the display first. Does the display light by
switching the meter switch from manual to auto (or vice versa)?
Didn't try that, but have taken it in for repair est. 42 UKP + VAT.
I think I was the last thing I did was mess around with a defective cable
release trying to screw it into the shutter release, this probably caused
the damage.
