After much soul searching (why do we have to search our very soul to buy a
camera?),
I got myself a Minolta MAXXUM. Not the expensive so called pro body but a
middle of the line model. The reason is, I have been having difficulty
focusing in low light, like banquets etc. To tell you the truth, I like it!
It is also handy for touring without a camera bag around your neck. I would
hate to do without the OM system and would most likely never be able to
replace it's all around flexibility or quality.
I feel there is a place for most types of gear and needs and wants are a
personal thing.
