Well, if using (and collecting) OM gear makes me a nostalgic,
then I'm a proud nostalgic - or zombie if need be. I plan to
keep my OM gear running for may years to come.

Unfortunately you are probably right. The OM system is not
very well known these days. However I'm surprised how many
full- and semi-professional photographers I've met who remember
the OM cameras with fondness. Some even admit that they regret
abandoning the system. Not that it helps us one bit.

Partly, one of my reasons for sticking to the OM system is the
lack of alternatives. The only real alternatives IMHO seem to
be Leica or Contax, which are even more expensive.

The wonderbricks and their kin are way too complicated to use.
I managed to get lost in the menus of a Nikon F50 when I tried
one. How would I fare with an F5? Besides I was afraid to break
the thing. Way too much plastic.

Sorry, I'm rambling. Too much nostalgia.

Merry christmas everyone
Lars
