Tell your friend his memory isn't what it used to be, either. They
didn't make the OM-1 in 1965 :)
As for the IS series, I think Ken pretty much covered it. We currently
have a used IS-2 at the store I'm considering buying (do I really NEED
8 cameras? ;)). The Is 2 and 3 are the only ones with ED glass, btw. My
only other complaint with it is the same w/ all p&s zooms. I can zoom
manually a whole lot faster than any of them. so, I'm still debating on
buying the camera.
