Yeah, Garth, I know what you mean.

Seen today in Frankfurt by yours truely whilst searching for the elusive
Opticlean:  an OM-4 with 50mm 1.4 MC (body ex+, lens mint-) in a camera
store tagged at DM 1450.  That works out to US$ 850, or thereabouts.
Elsewhere in Frankfurt, I have seen 50mm 1.8s priced at DM 89 (at least,
they were MC).

Well, OK, maybe I shouldn't complain because at least these stores actually
HAD some Oly gear.  Maybe I'll take up Olympus import/export as a hobby...
NOT!

Gonna be in Chicago this week.  Time for another Helix Photo expedition,
although that could be painful (the last time I was there, I walked out
with my 24mm f2 as an "unplanned expenditure of funds"!).

I'm living in Used Oly *Hell*!  I haven't *ever* seen a used 16mm in
Edmonton -- and certainly nothing for only $600.00 CDN!
