No, this lens actually focus all the wat to 1:1 with out any adapter or
converter. If I'm not wrong, it is made later than the 90 macro.

Hi Jim:
If this is the one with a 1:1 adapter that is actually a Barlow (?) lens, then
the quality is legendary. At the time Modern Photography reviewed it, it
produced macro test results that had previously been unattained. At infinity
it was great, too. My memory of all this is fuzzy, but I'd jump at a good
deal on one of these.
