Arcsoft's PhotoStudio 2 ('free' with Ricoh digital cameras) does a
reasonable job. You have to set a target cross on each frame where you want
them to stitch and there's a slider to select the amount of auto blending,
if any, you want. Each operation creates another frame so you have to keep
deleting the originals off the screen or considerable confusion sets in.

You can do it a different way with most of the graphics manipulation
packages though, Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, etc., by increasing the Canvas
width of one frame and copying the others to the new space on it.
