Yes the setup would be limited to macro, but tilts and swings would 
be useful on macro shoots as well. Using the Pen with OM lenses would 
give the angle of coverage that would be missing using this on a 35mm 
body.

Brunton, a maker of high quality compasses used in surverying (b4 
EDM) and geology makes an adaptor to mount a compass on a tripod. 
This mount includes a small ball and socket head and a Brunton is 
about the same width as the front standard of the OM bellows. I've 
got one of these adaptor, but of course I can't find it now that I 
want it. The adapter would add height under the front standard. Maybe 
this could  be solved by mounting the bellows focusing stage (with 
the rear standard of the bellows) on another focusing rail and 
putting the adaptor (with the front standard) on the bottom rail.

Attaching the front standard to the adapter would require machining 
two small slots in the front standard; so this still is not painless.
