The last co. I worked for had an OM4 attached to their microscope.
Who says you need specialised equipment? Most other microscopes I've
seen with camera have had polaroids attached (so too the brace of
oscilloscope cameras).
But you have a point.. This fact alone may keep Oly. making
35mm SLR's. (Although I'd expect them to come up with a digital
camera to attach to their microscopes. Certainly, they're competing
against Sony and the like with their video cameras and digital printers
aimed at the technical market).
