Only for passengers traveling within Europe. Duty free shops will
remain in service for intercontinental passengers. Due to the decrease
in visitor numbers many of the shops will have to close later, I
guess.
But what difference would it make, now that the prices in the duty
free shops at Schiphol Airport (one of the cheapest in the world) are
still as high or even higher than street prices in Dutch shops, at
least for the majority of photographic and other hitech equipment?
