Untested opinion here (synthesized from my memory of the various
"features" of the OM2000).

Given:
        1. Camera is "off" when film advance lever is all the way in

        2. Release button cannot be depressed when camera is "off" (but
                a cable release still works).

Are the LEDs always off when the advance lever is pushed in? Does
firing the shutter (with the advance lever in) using a cable release
still result in the red LED glowing?

cjb.

p.s. What does anyone think of (Oz) $120 ea for a pair of XA-2s with
flashes? (Seen at my local pawnshop). Myself, I think "wake up and
smell the Dektol!" Anyone in Oz looking for an OM-101 (same shop)?
