I think the problem on mine was the design of the camera-end plug being
flawed - bloody idiotic, anyway - I've since tried it on a Nikon F100 in a
store, and it failed on that too, so it's not my cameras (pardon the
blasphemy, but it's not an all bad camera, that F100...)

Ahh yesss, contract - it really is about time I wrote myself up one of those

<laugh> this was one occasion when a polaroid back would have been nice for
a couple of tests - a couple of shots had shadows just on the hard side, but
nothing too traumatic.

Having seen the shots yesterday, I'm actually pretty happy with the final
results, just annoyed at the people and process - but everyone else was
happy and enthusiastic about it all, so whatever....
