[OM] hair-width accuracy

Doris Fang sent me more of the Leica article, and I can now explain the
confusion. We were both correct -- about different things.

The article states that the Leica rangefinder has an resolution of at
least 0.01" with respect to movement of the lens _in its mount_. That
is, you can move the lens 0.01" (or less) and see the rangefinder spot
move.

However...

Lens movement does not directly correspond to the change in focal point.
For example, moving a lens by 0.1" can move the focal point by several
feet! The change in focusing distance is _greater_ than the physical
displacement of the lens.

Therefore, a rangefinder with 0.01" resolution cannot _focus_ with that
resolution.

Does this make sense?
