And, according your tests, 'long' exposures (all OTF) on, eg, Velvia should
be off by 1 1/3 stops? Which way? Will the slides be over or under exposed?
 Thanks George >>

Hi George,
To refresh my memory, I just fired 3 test shots. It's raining, near dark and
lighting is pretty even.
It was tough to find a subject area where the last little bar would not
flicker but the average of 3 was probably closer to 1 full stop to the Plus
side.
Auto would read 1/8th sec. and after setting the memory and firing it would
read 1/4 sec.
Last time, months ago, I set my tripod up and found an area where the manual
and auto both agreed exactly (no flickering of the last little bar in auto).
If I am remembering correctly the average was closer to + 1&1/3rd.
I was going to just compensate when I used the slower speeds. But then I
found Astia was different, I think +2/3, so I just abandoned the idea of using
auto.
No big deal, I grew up on manual and the main reason I even bought a 4T was
for TTL flash.
This reminds me of when I took a photo class in college in the mid 70's. We
called all the "Auto's" something. I think it was "Wonderbricks."
Good Luck,
Buddy Walters
