As a newbie to this list, I wanted to thank everyone for their help
regarding auto racing and astro photography. I have purchased a few items
to get me going... until the REAL expensive f/2 - f/5 come into a more
reasonable price range.
Sigma 600mm f/8, 9+ with the 5 filters (all filters are 9+) $200 - What a
steal that was!
Olympus Winder 1 - $40
Soligor 3x teleconverter - 9+ - $25
Vivitar 2x teleconverter - 9+ - $30
I am also looking to get the following items:
Starblitz 500-800mm Mirror Zoom or
Soligor 500-800mm Mirror Zoom
- I haven't decided on which one yet, hopefully I can get one of them for
$250-275.
So, I'm going to go shoot up tons 'o film.... as soon as the weathers gets a
little less brisk!
