They look very alike, superficialy. An closer inspection shows, that the
Metz has the battery compartement on the top v.s, underneath at the T32.
The Metz can be rotated around the flashfoot, no such posibility with
the T32.
Can it be, that flashes with such big differences in constuction are made
in the same factory, what are your sources Marco?

But you may use following solutions.

You can buy Metz flashes with wireless feature, they work on every TTL
capable camera.

You can mount an Olympus flash on your OM and use flashes and wireless
adapter SAsomething of the "great satan" ;-) Nikon as wireless TTL
controled slaves.

No solution is cheap, but the Metz might be a little bit more afordable
and your "slave" flash could also be used on your OM camera providing
more usable apertures for your OM-1 and OM-3 than any Olympus flash.
