Hi,

>Does anyone know if I can fix an OMPC that has a circuit board problem?

No (at least I don't ;) )...

>What actually happens with the camera is that whenever I use slower shutter
>speeds,

What exactly do you mean with slower speeds? I have the same problem
occassionally when taking pictures with exposure times >1 sec.

>the mirror locks up and can only be fixed by removing the batteries.

...but when putting the camera on "battery check" the mirror unlocks again.
I realise this isn't a cure for your problem, but at least you don't have to
remove the batteries then, or doesn't this work for you either?

>Is this a typical problem for "lemon" OMPCs? I know boards for OM4's and
>Om2sp's are virtually non-existent, but how about the OMPC?

I don't remember exactly where, but I'm positive I've seen some posts that
mention that you can still order those boards. Alternatively, scout E-bay
and what until a parts OM-PC comes along, I've seen several of those being
auctioned....

Hope this helps,
Olaf
